AI Assistant (Aki)

Aki is your AI-powered assistant for Japanese real estate investment, available on every page of Tatemono IQ. Aki answers questions about your properties, provides market insights, and — unlike a plain chatbot — takes actions on your behalf: filtering properties, creating lists, and more.

Meet Aki

Click the Ask Aki button to open the assistant. Aki understands the context of the page you're on and can give personalized insights based on your portfolio. Ask about a property's outlook, request a comparison, or tell Aki what to do in plain language.

Opening and Arranging the Panel

Aki stays docked to the right side of your screen, so you can chat while you browse. From the panel header you can start a new chat, open the menu (export, history, settings), or close the panel.

On desktop, drag the panel's left edge to make Aki wider or narrower — your preferred width is saved for next time.

Chatting with Aki

Type your question or request in the message box:

  • Enter sends the message
  • Shift+Enter adds a new line

Aki understands the context of your current page, so on a property page "is this a good deal?" needs no further explanation.

Voice Input

Click the microphone to speak instead of typing. Aki supports voice input in English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. If you prefer a fully hands-free flow, enable auto-send in Settings and your spoken message sends as soon as you finish.

Smart Suggestions

Above the message box, Aki offers context-aware suggestions based on where you are:

  • On a property page — options to analyze or compare the property
  • On a list — rank by cash flow or find the best investment in the list

Suggestions are one-click starting points for the most useful next action.

Starting a New Chat

Click the new chat button to start a fresh conversation. Your current conversation is saved to history automatically, so starting fresh never loses anything.

Conversation History

Open the menu and click History to see all your previous conversations. Continue any conversation where you left off, or delete ones you no longer need.

Exporting a Conversation

From the same menu, export the current conversation to PDF — handy for keeping a record of market research or sharing an exchange with a partner.

Customizing Aki

Open Settings from the menu to make Aki work your way:

  • Response style — concise or detailed answers
  • Sound notifications — audio cue when Aki responds
  • Voice input options — including auto-send
  • Reset window position — restore the default panel layout
